when did we replace the word “said” with “was like”
When it occured to us that “said” implies a direct quote, while “was like” clarifies that you mean to communicate the person’s tone and general point without quoting them word for word.
main goals when going to a friends house:
-don’t clog toilet
If you do not reblog this, you are in fact lying.
Hey, don’t you fucking scroll down
Two kinds of people in this world. The people that admit to mourning the death of a fictional character and the dirty fucking liars
The most important question we ask the creators of our fandom characters
"I’m on the highway to hell."
I take your fluffy kisses in the workshop and raise you an adrenaline ride of cuddles.
Prompt: valdangelo, on the Argo II forgetting the walls aren’t soundproof.
Characters because I don’t have word count and I’m lazy: 9k ish approx.
Authors note: I realise the prompt kind of insinuated that it be smut but I just really wanted to get fluffy.
Its strange how love…
i was always wanted to draw kenma and kuro but then it turned out like this
After posting that gif I decided to share some of my ”coloring wisdom” with you guys :)
So first of a small disclaimer:
I’m still learning and figuring out how to color in different styles so this may not be entirely waterproof ;)
Anyways let’s get started!
I’m going to explain how I colored the drawing above.
These were the colors I used:
Since this is a coloring tutorial I will skip the explanation about my lineart.
Just draw your line art how you normally would do.
Okay, now make a layer underneath your lineart layer.
Before you begin coloring, make the background. It will be much easier to spot mistakes and correct them :)
Now add a layer underneath your line art layer and on top of your background layer. This will be your base color layer. I have all my base colors in one layer, but if you’re a beginner it may be a bit easier to draw the base colors in different layers.
I always work with textures so I created a layer on top of my background layer. I pasted a ”rock” texture and I changed the layer setting to ”overlay” on 41%.
I also drew some flames in his hand, they were just messy lines in the shape of how I wanted the flames look like.
Anyways. add a new layer on top of your lineart layer, and fill it with the color you want. I wanted to create a darkness effect so I filled the layer with a dark blue.
”Oh no I can’t see my drawing anymore!”
Shhhhh don’t worry just change the layer setting to multiply and the opacity to 79%
”Aaah there he is!”
Now choose your highlight color, in my case a bright yellow, and start highlighting, yes in the same layer.
And after messing around for a while it should look like this:
I use this method a lot in my drawings, here are some examples:
I hope this helps out some of you and good luck!
If there are any questions feel free to ask :D
"You could have called."
"Well, it'd be a little embarrassing..."
